Pastor Charlie is originally from New Bern, NC. He received his education at New Bern Senior High School in 1973, East Carolina University (B/S. 1977), and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (M. Div. 1995). Pastor Charlie has served Immanuel Baptist Church since May 2009 after serving churches in Bolivia, NC and Johnsonville, SC. He and his wife, Marcia, have two sons, Matthew (Amanda) and Andrew (Stephanie), and four grandchildren.
Pastor Peter was born outside of New York City and raised in Medford, New York and Boynton Beach, Florida. He received his education at Palm Beach Atlantic College (B.A. 1984) and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (M. Div. 1987 & M.A.C.E., 1988). Pastor Peter first came to Immanuel Baptist Church in January 1989 as Minister of Education and served until June 2001 when he became pastor at Swift Creek Baptist Church in Hartsville, SC. He returned, as Associate Pastor, in November 2006. He and his wife Carey have three sons, Ethan (Kassie), Thomas, and Zachary.
Dwight was born in Florence, SC where he attended McClenaghan High School. He was ordained to the Gospel Ministry in 1969 and has served Baptist churches in South Carolina, North Carolina and Texas. Dwight received a Bachelor in Church Music from Coker College (1976 - Hartsville, SC) and a Master in Church Music and Biblical Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (1979 - Fort Worth, TX). For over 45 years, he has been a serious student of the Bible, with a focus on hymns of the faith, Creation, Prophecy and Biblical authority. Dwight and his wife Becky have been married since 1973 and have two children (Rebecca and Michael) and three grandchildren.
Betty was born in Wilmington, NC and raised in North Carolina and South Carolina. She joined Immanuel in 1993 and actively served in several Ministries including the Singing Christmas Tree and the Banner Ministry. Betty joined the staff as Finance Administrator in 2008. She enjoys spending weekends with her husband, their two children and three grands.
Danielle was born and raised in Florence, SC and graduated from Wilson High School. She is part of two mission groups that have traveled to Haiti, Mexico and Nicaragua and is looking forward to the next trip. Danielle joined the Immanuel Baptist Church staff in February 2011.
