Well, hello friends and family. It’s your new and excited Children and Youth Minister, Emily.  I first want to start by saying how thankful I am for the overwhelming prayers and words of encouragement from everyone.  It has meant the world to me how each and every one of you have welcomed me with open arms.  I am so blessed to be in a church that is so supportive, caring, and loving.  So thank you from the bottom of my heart. The first few weeks of work have been a blessing, and it’s because of the people here at Immanuel.

Growing up in a Christian home surrounded by God’s love every day was such a blessing and a privilege.  I never doubted the work of the Lord in my life and in my family’s life. I am so excited about the work that the Lord was doing and still is doing in my life, and I’m blessed that His plan has led me home to Immanuel to serve on staff.  I am excited about the things the Lord has planned for Immanuel, and I feel honored that He has chosen me to be a part of it.

I am enthused about the events that I have planned for the children and youth this summer ranging from beach trips, camps, Bible studies, as well as mission work right here in Florence. I am thrilled about the work that the Lord is going to do here at Immanuel during Vacation Bible School Week. The Lord has an awesome plan for the children and youth here at Immanuel, and I promise that everything we do will be Christ-centered and it will be drenched in prayer.

Thank you again for all of your prayers.  Please continue to pray as we seek the Lord’s direction for His amazing plan not only for the children and youth program but Immanuel Church as well.

                                      Love In Christ,
                                      Emily Gamble

I want to personally commend Polly Howle and all of her assistants for the outstanding leadership given to the Children’s Choir.  The musical “AmazinGrace” was wonderful, and the children did an excellent job.  Parents, thank you for making sure your children are a part of this ministry.  It is impossible to measure the training and character-building that is instilled in them by participating in the Children’s Choir.  Thanks to all for a job well done!!

Dear Ladies of Immanuel,
Thank you for your monetary donation to the Baptist Collegiate Ministry of Francis Marion University..  This provided a meal for about 75 students!  We appreciate your generosity and willingness to be involved in this ministry.  Thanks again.  God bless.
